The Sequoia guesthouse

- peaceful, quiet location - clean and comfortable house - owner was responsive to messages - relatively close to Kings canyon and Seqouia National Parks ~40 minutes

- too isolated in my opinion...great location if you plan to just stay put - location is pretty high up on the hill, so lots of steep winding roads. - closest store is 15 minutes (mom & pop store...they carry basic needs, NO meat products except bacon/hot dogs) **PRO TIP: Buy your groceries before you check in. **top up your gas tank, closest gas station is 20 minutes

Great facilities - having washing powder and toiletries available was great. The furnishings were very good and modern. Some little treats for us were very welcome. Very peaceful location - enjoyed having all the birds around us.

We store was some distance away, but had very little selection and nothing in the way of fresh fruit and vegetables. A neighbour told us that another store, only a little bit further away, is much better. Blinds and electronic dimmer in the bedroom a bit of a challenge.

Very cozy. The home was comfortable and we loved the coffee, popcorn and water left by the owner. Wish we had brought food because the house has a full kitchen and a grill outside.

This is not the owner's fault but the house is difficult to get to if you are coming from Sequoia NP. I recommend that you not try to get to the house from Hwy 245 (which is an incredibly winding road). You should instead go to Dunlap Road and come back east.

It was just super clean, super tasteful interior, with all amenities you could need. Great communication with the host as well - can highly recommend!
