The whole place was amazing, the heating systems are fantastic. Everything we needed was there. Good instructions.

The downstairs shower went cold halfway through my shower so had to use the electric shower upstairs which is quite small.

Wonderful accommodation perfect for our little visit to see friends. So much better than a hotel as we could put our little one to bed and relax upstairs in the gorgeous spacious living/dining area. Very modern we loved the heating systems on the ceiling ! And overall the place was finished to such a high standard.

great rural Location, super living room and kitchen

Key safe info provided and accessible, property was easy to find. Host, Lisa, was very responsive to messages, and really accommodating, which made our visit, for a family wedding locally, really special and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble. We have already made the decision that we would absolutely return to The Retreat, as we didn’t have time to make the most of the lovely facilities in the accommodation on this visit, and the beautiful location it is situated in. The property has been converted to a high standard and all the attention to detail and home from home vibe really made our stay. Thank you so much, we will see you again soon!

Our stay was too short!!

Thank you for a great stay! The house was spotless, and so beautifully put together with thoughtful little touches like coffee and biscuits left.
