Luxury Villa Esmeralda

The apartment is very nice and clean. It has a big terrace with a wonderful sea view. It's vey quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable and sheets and towels were super clean. The beach is very close but if you want to get to the best part of the Sozopoli beach, you will need a car. The hosts are absolutely adorable. They welcomed us very friendly and were very helpful with anything we needed. We really appreciate that and we will be back at this place for sure.

Everything was fine.

The house is near the beach (5-10 min walk). The rooms look exactly like the pictures. There is a parking space and a nice garden. The towels and sheets seem to be clean.

We were surprised to find out that we didn't have the whole house, but only the second floor. I think that the host and her family were living on the first floor of the house. In my opinion, the description of this property is not right to say "house/villa". It's just a 2-bedroom apartment. In addition to not-right description I would add that this property is for max 4 adults and 2 kids, because the 2 twin beds in the second bedroom are not appropriate for 2 adults- the mattresses were really thin (like 10-15 santimeters), so we could feel the boards below, even as we were 2 women 50-60kgs. Also, there was a problem with the bathroom door, and it couldn't be closed, which was uncomfortable for using it. When we arrived, there were some dirty spots in the bathroom and it was obvious that it was not cleaned properly. The host doesn't speak any English and she didn't even try, so we couldn't complain to her.

Good location, nice and quiet village, beach is close.

The apartment is on the second floor of the house. At first one is living the owners, that is good to be mentioned at description at first place before reservation for people to know if they want to live with more people. The apartment as a whole is not bad but it has a lot of small issues. One of them is a constantly clogged siphon in the bath, if 2 people get shower one after another water can flood the whole kitchen. As a result, the door of the bathroom is wet and can't be closed. There are a lot of wires hanging on the wall that are not good if you have kids. The washing machine is old and rusty we cleaned it before first use and even after that it succeeded in ruining several sets of our clothes. At the top of that we had a power outage for several hours and the owners accused us that our electric scooter did that (85 watt it's like 2 light bulbs) or that we used too many electrical appliances at the same time, the actual issue was their AC conditioner at the first floor. The owners don't speak English and it was hard to understand each other.

Probably the best private accomodation I have been in Greece. Apartement is spacious, well equiped, new furniture, very cosy. Kitchen has everything you need and more. The best thing is very big terrace with a nice seaview. Sozopoli is very quiet little village with only one small market and two restaurants, who seeks for peace and quiet he will find it here, but you need a car, the best part of the beach is 1 km away, big markets, gyros and bakerys from 6 to 15 km. I enjoyed every moment, thank you very much.

A bit tiny bathroom

The location is great, close to the beach and the local tavern. The large balcony was a great place to spend time with family. The apartment was really clean and looks brand new!

The bathroom is tiny but it works.
