"Beautiful hotel in central Jaipur with the best food!"

10.0

great property with beautiful, luxurious rooms! A peaceful haven amongst the busy city just a short walk away from most of the main sites of Jaipur! The staff were excellent, always available, friendly and very helpful for example they were able to sort postage of some items back to the UK for me. The food I had at Saba Haveli was some of the best food I have had on my whole trip in India, from the freshly cooked breakfasts to rooftop evenings meals cooked fresh to order I could not recommend enough!

I only wish I could have stayed longer!

"The whole experience was perfect."

10.0

Just WOW! We wanted a place close to the centre of town so we could celebrate Holi. It was our first time in India, so we decided to visit the prettiest city at the prettiest time of year, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I chose a suite so we could have space to escape the crowds if it all got to busy, and it was just perfect. We had the biggest bed I’ve ever slept in. The juxtaposition of the old part of the hotel, with the renovated part made it feel like you were truely in a dream. The breakfasts were delicious, you couldn’t ask for more. As I mentioned, we came to know to experience Holi, and it was made even more perfect by being a part of the family celebration. This hotel is run by a wonderful family, and we really were made to feel at home. There is a beautiful garden area that they opened up for the celebration. It was so much fun. All the extended family and guests celebrated by throwing coloured chalk and flowers. We ate the most delicious meal- it exceeded all our expectations, by far. I would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel

"Exceptional"

9.0

"Magical place to stay."

10.0

This has to be one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in. It is a 300 year old building known as a haveli that was then embellished by Samuel Swinton Jacob a British architect and engineer in the 19th century. The owners have restored 11 rooms so far. We stayed in room 111 which had stained glass above the windows with a beautiful tiled floor and period furniture with Indian style lighting. We felt special staying in this room and could really imagine the luxury of this haveli in its heyday. The bed was vast with a large bathroom with bath and shower. The room has tea making facilities and a fridge. DJ who’s family own the hotel offers a free tour of the building to explain the history. Take him up on the offer. It was fascinating and he is charming and very helpful with advice as to where to go and what to see in Jaipur. They even have their Great great grandparents 1933 Ford Cabriolet gathering dust in the garage. Just so evocative of a bygone era. Breakfast in the courtyard was delicious with continental and Indian options. Freshly made coffee on offer too! Supper on the roof with views over the hills and lit up forts with the stars twinkling above. Magical. The aubergine masala is to die for and the layered paratha fresh and tasty! The staff are excellent and friendly especially Dhan Singh who was always there to help… seemingly 24 hours a day. The location is really good. We walked back from the City Palace in 25 minutes but it is an easy tuktuk or uber ride. This is a very individual heritage hotel that offers the discerning traveller a real insight into the long history of Jaipur’s havelis. The family have taken great pride in preserving the building for generations to come. Go and stay there. You won’t be disappointed!

"A Peaceful Historic Gem – A Perfect 10!"

10.0

Saba Haveli is a magnificent historic house with a truly fascinating story. We spent three wonderful nights enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel and had a beautiful, relaxing experience from the noise and bustle of the streets. Both the owners and the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming, making you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take a break from the constant street vendors trying to sell products or services. We felt relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended – a perfect 10!
