Windy Villa

Having the entire home during our stay was very nice. There is a kitchen equipped well to prepare your own food and a large fridge to store the food. There is a washing machine available, which is very helpful. The bedroom is equipped with an AC, which worked very well and it was very helpful since it was very hot during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and bed linens were very clean. The host is very responsive, ready to help with local recommendations and to be sure that the guests enjoy their stay, which is really nice. The location is very peaceful, about 1 km from the main road, but if you like to walk, you can reach by foot this distance and go to supermarkets, ATMs, bus stops. There are some small shops nearby where you can buy fruits, vegetables and snacks or water. Overall, the ratio price-amenities was very good.

As minuses, there was very hot in the living room and kitchen since there is a concrete slab as roof, so using the fan is necessary very often. Also, some water faucets were quite worn, requiring to be used very carefully.

Our stay at Windy Villa was great! The host was more than welcoming and friendly! He told us all about the places we can visit and activities we can do while in Polonaruva. One of the best things about this place is that it has a washing machine, and that was more than needed on this trip! Oh, yes, the host also welcomed us with some cold beer in the fridge :)

Beautiful, big house that you have all to yourself, in a spectacular natural setting. The host is extremely helpful and obliging. The downside is that the property is a little far from the main road, and not really in walking distance. That means that you are entirely dependent on ordering a tuk tuk (which, it must be added, the host is always ready to do for you.) This is not really a problem, but it is not as easy as being in the town itself.

Location was really nice location in front of paddy field and end of the paddy field, bund of famous Parakrama Samudraya. I suggest guests who stay there, experience the wind come across the paddy field with chilled beer.

Our vehicles battery was dead when we ready to leave. Host was really helpful to replace a new battery for our vehicle.

Windy holiday home was incredible. The space itself was clean, spacious, cute, and comfortable. This was exactly as described and the location was perfect. Instructions for entering the property were clear.

It was the perfect place for my date. All property was ours and no disturbance. awesome view of sunset and sunrise. The food is also amazing. Whoever wants to take a break from their busy lives this is the perfect place. we had some barbeque experience in front of the house.
