The room was clean and the bed was comfy, and it's value with price.

They need to working on more with the shower, it's so small. And since the location little hidden, it was quite but sometimes you find some small animal.

very near to the city center, good comfortable bed and washroom. the guy in the property is very helpful. very valuable for the price.

there are no room amenities. would be better to keep at least some water bottles.

The host is a great guy, very friendly, happy, smiling and positive lovely person. Welcoming and helpful. He would do anything that is needed to make sure you feel at home. He also gives a much better much more affordable price for trips. I walked around the town of Ella and asked for prices of certain trips and his was the most fair price. I loved the host. Quality person and decent human being. The room is large and comfortable, hot water for shower which is rare in Sri Lanka so I was happy to finally have a hot shower because most accommodations have cold water but this place has hot water. It was great to finally feel clean for once. The location is perfect as well. The historic famous railway station is round the corner, the world famous arch bridge is very close as well. There are trendy restaurants, cool cafes, pubs and everything just a 2 minute walk from this accommodation. It's very central. Perfect location. The host will ensure you see the best places in Ella and have the best time and make you feel most welcome

The guy hadn't reserved our room. When we arrived to the property at night, he was doing a wall mural paint using Petrol as the dilution. The entire room smelled of fuel, and couldn't breathe. When the doors are closed, you literally choke. The property is unclean and the person running the place was super intoxicated. Do not book this place. We left the room immediately and asked for a refund, and spent all night walking with our bags looking for another accomodation.

No soap or towel provided & one bathroom hot water shower not working, handle of one bathroom door is broken, but overall good

The Homestay Owner was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is in a great place.

Since the climate in Ella was super wet since it was raining every day, also the air was very moist. That unfortunately led to a lot of snails being everywhere in the bathroom.
