"Good for relaxing, with good night's sleep guaranteed."

8.0

Location was remote, so you was guaranteed a good night's sleep. The lodge was well presented with many items already present, like liquid soap, shower gel etc, although there was a reminder to make sure you leave same for next occupants.

Seemed weird that you never met the people who ran the lodges, keys available via key safes by main door. Had one or two issues, but on contacting Booking.com, upon forwarding my concern, never did hear back, however people at Booking.com were very helpful in resolving issue. The lodge itself, yes was clean and well presented, but starting to show a little bit of wear and tear, could do with a bit of TLC is some areas. One minor concern was that some lodges had numbers, some had names, but there was no consistency, ours was called The Harrier, but there was nothing to indicate it's name, no plaque or anything. Another issue was that the sign for the farm is prominent by the road, but the lodges, which is on the same sign is faded, so drove past it twice while trying to find it, could do with re-signing or painting, but once you know where the entrance is, you can't miss it.
