Infinity Nature Resort

Every thing was nice and clean. Rooms are spacious nice.

* This is a nice resort located in the middle of a paddy field. It is very close to Kataragama town, Kiri Vehera, Sella Kataragama and Yala Katagamuwa entrance. * We could see many birds in the morning and afternoon in the paddy fields and Nuga tree in front of our room, including peacocks (even dancing peacocks), hornbills, emperor pigeons, green pigeons, spotted doves, black hooded orioles, cuckoos, parrots, weaver birds, kingfishers, brown-headed barbet, crested woodpeckers, red vented bulbuls, red Indian paradise flycatchers and other beautiful and colourful birds I could not recognize. * Pool is clean and very nice. * Rooms are large. The beds are large and comfortable. AC worked perfectly. * Breakfast is tasty. * The owner is very helpful. * We organized a safari to Yala using the contact given by the hotel from Lahiru's Safari. Our driver Romesh was very good at siting animals. We saw an elephant, a leopard, a jackal, a python (which has swallowed a large prey), many spotted deer, buffalos, peacocks (including dancing peacocks) and several crocodiles, eagles, jungle fowls, painted storks, wide ducks and many other birds and animals. The safari vehicle was comfortable. Our vehicle got stuck in the mud from the previous day's rain, but Romesh managed to get it out.

* Some rooms did not have hot water. Our room did, but the regulator did not work, and the water was too hot. * A lot of small insects from the nearby paddy field filled the room in the afternoon. Staff immediately cleaned them up, but there were many left in the room. We did not mind. But if you are afraid of bugs, ask for a room in which the back door closes tightly so that insects cannot enter.

The meals are plentiful and very good. The surroundings of the hotel are wonderful and very quiet

We had 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. Waste water came up in the bathroom... 3 centimeters of dirty water and the smells ... The hotel knows the problem but does nothing to stop it. The hotel gave us very bad information for the safari. He booked the jeep fot Lunugamvehera Park (Yala 5) - Amazing park and no so much jeeps - but told us a price of 12,000 to 15,000 rupees for the full day and the real price is double, 30,000 for the full day ! The hotel prepared us breakfast for the day of the safary but no lunch ... in the park it's impossible to find a lunch !

Beautiful location, 20-30 min to yala main entrance, perfect sunset view over rice fields, friendly staff, big clean room

Nothing big but Wifi in our room was not working, breakfast box for safari was missing, and food was a little bit expensive

Breakfast was ok but the quantity provided was way too inadequate.

Toilets were not clean. Facilities need much upgrading for that price . Water from the wash room leaks into the room when bathing. No room service. They flat out refused it and I don't know why. Rooms were over priced. They said we will get a discount when we book through Booking. Com but infact ended up higher than the original price. They wanted us to get the highest grade room by saying rooms were not available & I wasn't too sure about this. Highly slippery floors, unclean walk ways & balconies. Insects even get inside the rooms. Rooms has spiders crawling on the walls.
