Lala Salama Backpacker

I had a really great experience at Lala Salama! Abdiel was really friendly and took a few of us on a small walking tour of a local village. He made the best banana pancakes for breakfast and always had a smile on his face. Communication with Dede was super easy before my stay. And he was great during the stay just making sure everything was okay. The food options were great as well as choice of drinks at the bar. The location is so convenient for getting off the boat at Lombok. It was a really great, social stay. Highly recommend!

La zona comuna esta muy bien para socializar con otros viajer@s. Las motos estan muy bien.

La habitación privada esta llena de humedad. Cuando vas al restaurante te hacen pagar antes de servirte y si no tienen cambio, te hacen coger una agua y pagarla para compensar.

Very clean, well built place. Amazing chill areas and pool. Very friendly staff and great food. Always ready to help and have a chat. The beds are great. Close to Bangsal and you can rent scooters from the hostel. The massage/sauna combo was ideal for after a long Rinjani trek or Gili weekend.

No curtains on the bed. (There were railings installed so they probably still hanging them up)

The staff is very helpful and always smiling. It was the best breakfast I’ve had of all of my accomodations in Indonesia :)

Not a lot of things to do around but if you have a scooter it’s not a problem

The team at Lala Salama are truly incredible and cannot do enough for you, due to visiting in the low season I pretty much had the place to myself, I was a little worried at first as I like the social aspect of hostels but the guys did everything they could to make my stay special and I cannot thank them enough. The rooms are spacious, they have an amazing bar / restaurant area and plenty of other spaces to chill outside the room. Really close to a lovely beach.

Toilets and showers could maybe do with a scrub, the drains are a bit smelly but I suppose this can’t be helped. I couldn’t use the swimming pool as it needed to be clean, I appreciate it was low season and probably not being used much.
