The Lighthouse Studio Appartments

The host was absolutely fantastic! Very attentive, kind and would offer help to anything we asked her for.

Perfect location. Everything was easily accessible. The room was clean and with everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable and it was relaxing to start and end the day on the lanai.

The balcony was great. The apartment was clean and new. The host was great and really helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

If one arrives late - there is no food in the apartment. Thus, perhaps an option for collecting groceries nearby, or having breakfast served, which would have been fantastic on the first morning. It was cash on arrival, which I was not aware of, but the hostess was flexible and helpful. As the accommodations didn't have an ATM/credit card payment facility, nor online payment, and this can be tricky if you wish to use a business card, or if you cannot draw cash locally or if you arrive late at night. So just having a little advance warning of that would have been helpful.

Lepeka (host) made our stay - she's wonderful, very friendly and helpful and we loved getting to know her. The bed was huge and comfortable. Great to have AC for hot nights, wifi was good to keep in touch with family back home and great to have a balcony to sit outside watching the chickens & roosters next door. Good location for walking to town, supermarkets close by & range of takeaways/ street-food/ restaurants within easy walking distance.

Lack of pots and pans when there was a cooktop available, lack of sharp knife for cutting things like pawpaw/coconut etc. Mentioned to host and she was very responsive and happy to assist.

Had everything we needed. Cool large balcony and host was super friendly and helpful! Location was convenient given we had a car. I’d imagine without transport it’d feel a little far from town etc but was a good spot for us.

Noisy road and dogs non-stop barking at night. The bed frame was also very squeaky and noisy to the point we placed the mattress on the floor at night so we wouldn’t wake up everytime one of us moved! Shower itself could have done with a better clean, a bit of mould etc.

Friendly family home with clean, comfortable accommodation. Near a great bakery and coffee shop.

Location was good and friendly.

Bathroom /shower could be cleaner.
