Poplar holiday cottage

The keys are left in a secure key box so no worries on what time you arrive. We booked this accommodation for two of our floor layers that were working for us in the local area. They personally asked me to write this review as they say their stay was exceptional and want me to book this same accommodation for next time they are working in the area. They have said everything they needed was to hand and the hosts were especially helpful to them. Very clean with lots of facilities.

There is nothing that they did not like, however once booked the confirmation email informed us that you need to bring your own towels, as our guys had already left home for work, I called the host Vikki, and explained that they would have no towels, she advised me that this was not a problem and she supplied them with towels, this was a real help to ourselves, thanks again Vikki.

Clean and comfortable. Spacious. Good value Very comfortable beds.

Not their fault. If you like a firmer or higher pillow bring your own.

Excellent communication with the owners. Solved minor issues promptly. Nice to sit ouside and watch the big Lincolnshire sky and listen to the Skylarks. Clean, tidy, very comfortable bed!

There were only 3 forks? No really that was the only thing I can think of and that's a minor one, I'm sure they would have provided another one pronto if asked.

Perfect for us with a 1 year old & 5 year old. Child friendly & provided us with a cot & high chair which was super helpful for us. Stayed here twice now & would definitely book again!

This place is a scam. Do not book here. You will lose your money. It stunk like an ash tray and we couldn't stay for longer than five minutes without wanting to wretch. The main surfaces are clean but every corner is covered in cob webs and dead flies. The bed had long strands of others peoples hair left in it. There was five large spiders and four slugs in the property when we arrived. There's no WIFI, despite it being advertised. The sink had dried toothpaste in it. The bedroom stunk of old man. Thick cobwebs were behind every drawer/cupboard. Absolutely disgusting place. We had to leave and stay in a premier inn but no refund was offered. The owners are scam artists. Please please stay away.

Spacious, clean and modern. Everything I needed was there, along with a wonderful view. The location is peaceful but close distance to everything.

Nothing, this place is perfect.

The location was brilliant, with excellent views. The cottage was spacious and the hosts wonderful.

Ideal location to visit my mother in a nearby care home. Very private, clean and comfortable. Lots of space. Liked the outdoor area with the table and chairs; lovely to be able to sit and watch the birds and wildlife in the adjoining field.
