Beautiful clean spacious home thank you. For sharing the breakfast was outstanding

No breakfast was available. Host has ceased providing. Small problem with a pool filter left running accidentally. Without that would have been a better sleep. Genuine error though and hosts were a bit mortified they’d forgotten to turn off. Hosts quite lovely and very accommodating and lent us their push bikes to cycle around town.

Would be nice (given a home rather than a hotel) to be able to make breakfast the following morning, especially as a hosted breakfast no longer really offered. Kitchen not locked off or anything, but sitting room use only mentioned so then felt we couldn’t ask. If you wish to have kitchen access to make breakfast, they may well be amenable. I’d suggest asking before booking if you do not any that. Otherwise a beautifullly appointed suite and very pleasant hosts.

Lovely old home with character, well maintained and quality linen. Home baking was a nice touch.

The best girls weekend getaway ! This home is oozing with charm as it has beautiful decor to complement the old style house and is very welcoming from the moment you arrive . Carmel was a great hostess as she welcomed us early and had great facilities with coffee, tea , and orange juice . She also baked a lovely slice for us which was so yummy. The home was very warm and we enjoyed having the open fire lit for the evening in the lounge where we could read and play board games. The gardens were also beautiful and well maintained. Overall our stay was one to remember and we would love to come again . Also George the cat was a great bonus !
