Victoria Beach Cottage

Very close to the gorgeous beach 5 mins across the road to the left down a side street or 15 minutes to the right and town just a short bus journey. Lots of attractions close by and a convenience store a short walk away with takeaways close by. Good sized rooms and kitchen well supplied with the basics. Good communication from the owners, they checked everything was going ok which was a lovely touch. Grandson loved that baby seagulls are living on the garage roof, made his day. Nice spot out the back for when kids want to kick a ball around. Very quiet area too. Would definitely return again

Only downsize was really thick bedsheets considering current weather, perhaps supply a fan as well in the summer and lockbox was difficult to find at first but owner has stated this will be changed soon so not too big an issue

Spacious and warm. Great shower and plenty of towels. Great internet and streaming services

A brighter light bulb in the kitchen would be better but that’s only a minor thing

The property is very close to family we were visiting and handy for the beach and local shops

There as some areas that maybe need a little tlc. Such as the bathroom flooring, it’s clean but because of wear and tear looks quite grubby. The kitchen is functional but quite dated. The parking round the back is quite tight, worse when trying to leave the property and the road is quite busy

The bungalow is very homely, clean, warm and lovely. Location really good for beach and shops.

For us the location was perfect (near my mum), and the self check-in instructions very clear. The bungalow was scrupulously clean. It has good sized bedrooms and lounge, with smaller kitchen and utility room. All necessary equipment was included. Plenty of large soft towels, excellent heating and lots of hot water. We were very comfortable.

We chose not to use the parking at the back of the house - the access lane is narrow and turning space too limited for our people carrier. But there's plenty of parking on the residential roads.

The cottage was really beautiful. It's was really clean, spacious and comfy. There was parking at the back of property which was really good. I would highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be staying here again
