Villino Blu

This was a gem of a place featuring two large terraces overlooking the village of Praiano and the ocean. It was perfectly located between the villages of Amalfi and Positano. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped, the bed was comfortable. The host, Gianluca, was delightful, helpful and responded immediately with any questions we had. Also, we loved the fact that there was private parking at the villa - a huge plus on the Amalfi Coast.

The host Gianluca was one of of the kindest hosts we have met. He was very attentive, caring and even gifted us on Christmas Eve, since we were at Villino Blu at that time with traditional Christmas treats:) The location is great 15 minutes to Amalfi and 20 or so minutes to Positano, restaurants near by, best of all the free parking spot is right above the house. Great beds, kitchen was very nice.

We only had to go outside to turn on the circuit breaker once, but that was likely due to the very windy weather we had during a couple of days. Other than that, showers were warm, yet small for tall people :)

We absolutely loved this pkace, great communication and super easy check in , parking was a super plus, the house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and the terraces and views are exceptional!

Villino Blu had an absolutely amazing view. The parking spot was a bonus, and made it easy for us to stay here. I loved having the kitchen, which was well stocked. Plenty of space for two people. The patios were superb.

Location was great. House was very well presented and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Didn't expect to have to provide a 200 Euro bond on arrival, to be returned on departure minus City Tax. Fortunately we were able to do this.

This was a gem of a villa and we’d definitely recommend booking a stay here. It’s great value and a great location if you like a quieter place where you can relax with amazing views but still easily bus to the main sites. We were a party of four, two adults and two teens. It was very conveniently located to a few small markets, the Sita and local Amalfi Mobility bus stops, and several local restaurants. The place itself includes a top floor with an outside patio with table and chairs and a main living area and inside including a kitchen and sofa, and a bathroom with shower. On the lower level there’s a laundry room with a washing machine, a bathroom with shower, and the two bedrooms. On that lower floor there is also a big terrace with lounge chairs and several likes to dry your clothes. Everything was in great working order including the air conditioning. The best part was how helpful and thoughtful our host Gianluca was. He helped with recommendations and reservations where needed and also offered several other options as add ons if we wanted to book a tour. We didn’t feel pressured at all, just supported in having an amazing visit.

Host was great as were the views.

Bed was very hard but the host brought a mattress topper to improve it a little. Shower was extremely small.

This spacious property boasts an amazing view of the Amalfi coastline. If one had more time to enjoy dining on the balcony, it certainly would be a fabulous experience. The bedrooms were spacious. A well equipped laundry was helpful and plenty of line space outside for drying. The retractable sun shades would be a great asset in very hot weather. The location was great with easy access to some local cafes, a gym and upmarket deli/ grocery store. Luca met us on arrival and gave us a very thorough overview of the house. We were mostly out and about but when at home, enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and facilities.

The main internal living area was somewhat small with limited views from inside.
