Anna Kavros appartment

We cannot say enough about the host, Anna Kavros. She was phenomenal. Nothing was too much for her and any help we requested was immediately given. We feel very lucky to have found this apartment. When we arrived at 1.30am we couldn’t open the key box. She was there outside the apartment in 5 minutes. We got locked out one evening, again she was there outside the apartment within 5 minutes. Her response times are really fast, and she answered or helped with every question we had. When we arrived so late on the first night. We opened the fridge and to our delight, she had placed supplies in there of water, wine and fruit juice. The apartment is very clean and spacious and very well equiped. We were 2 adults and a 12 year old child and we were very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our holiday. It even had a hair drier WITH diffuser and a nespresso coffee machine! It was so hot we sat on the balcony every evening and watched the world go by. The open space was a god send. We would come back here without a doubt. It was perfect for all our needs in everyway. It is so central, 10 minutes to the old town, 10 minutes to the beach. Bakers, butchers, fishmongers, supermarket and pharmacy just a few minutes down the road. A very good local meat restaurant underneath the apartment, with its only butchers, this was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Eur19.80 for a huge thick beek steak and so juicey. Literally opposite the apartment is a 24h kiosk where you can get water, ice and snacks etc extrememly useful. Also just past the kiosk is a kebab shop also very good quick meals. A Kebab is Eur3.80 We hired a car (Fiat Panda) for 48 hours from just down the road from Tellus Travel Chania. Mike (an older gentlemen was extremely helpful) we took the option to return the car to the airport (which saved us a taxi fare to the airport) The car only had 1800 km! We drove to Knossos and visited the palace and the museum. 5 hour round trip but very worth it.

Nothing - everything was good!

Gute Lage, in der Nähe von Altstadt und Strand

Bis 2 Uhr nachts war sehr laut,wegen Autos auf der Straße. Apartament befindet sich genau auf die Kreuzung wo viele Autos fahren.

The apartment is spacious and the facilities are good. It is only a 5 minute walk into the old walled town. It has a separate bedroom and bathroom. It is clean The bed is very comfortable, and the air conditioning allowed us to sleep in a heat wave. The TV is web based, so you can watch your own channels on apps. The owner was very helpful.

There can be a little noise from the restaurant below. However, in May, it closed at a reasonable time, so it did not affect our sleep.

We had almost everything for a good vacation

Air conditioning works, but you can't feel it in the bedroom. A lot of noise from traffic and from the restaurant below the apartment. After closing (0:00) they put away the chairs and tables and wash the cutlery and plates..

This apartment was in a great spot with a short walk to the beach,shops,bars and restaurants , very clean and bright with good air conditioning ,nice sunny balcony, we would stay again.
