GBWas accused of damaging the property. When I did not do it. Land lady said I damaged her floors with hundreds of small holes on the wooden floor. Very frustrated as did not expect to be accused of something that was probably there already. Didn't expect this as the land lady met me at the property to give us the key and seemed to be a very nice lady. Be carefull if u will be booking this cottage. Make sure you take photos of everything.
GBThe hosts behaviour was very unnecessarily,unfriendly, have never experienced this with any rentals in all my years.
The main reason is the host. The second bedroom is very small, just about accommodated the double bed. The bathroom is also minute and no cupboards for clothes, just hangers.

This is a Devon village. Parking is always a slight hassle but there are options and it was a short walk to a reasonably priced car park

The smoke alarm is a little sensitive - and woke us up at 6am for some reason. Maybe smoke from a neighbour's wood burning stove got in.

GBWe loved the simple but good quality furniture and general decor. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Extremely comfortable and a fantastic location within walking distance of the beach. The hosts were lovely and very flexible.
