"Incomprehensibly inhospitable Airbnb"

Proximity to airport for late arrival. A bed for the night however short.

Room charged earlier than other Airbnb, weeks before, yet major delayed information on entry procedure, causing a lot of stress for us before departing for airport. Cool reception ourselves left standing in the rain at 1.30 Am trying to see tiny numbers on a lock box, texting host who was inside texting back had earlier texted to explain satnav followed the address to another house first. Feeling like intruders for for this and arriving late even though we we were expected late. Before retiring to the room I went to 'courtesy' dining to get something to eat, but made to feel awkward for availing of little bowl of cereal as I had not eaten all day. when I got in in the breakfast room as hostess made a remark she would now have to refill the bottle for morning even though I used no more than a cup of milk. We were flatly shown our little bedroom with no towels visible but stickers found later indicated there whereabouts and other stickers laid out rules about the use of room and the limit of stay 10.30. Am. Delayed sleep well because of cold vibes and both of us relieved to leave this Airbnb, get some decent coffee and breakfast on route home. Other Airbnbs in the area treated one so well.

Messages of welcome in advance. Great facilities for a really good price. Owner Caroline kindly gave a lift to the airport the next morning after making me a coffee. Couldn't ask for more.

The power cut- but that was due to storm. They did all they could.
