Dona Apartments Skopje

The apartment is quite decent. There is a large living room and a tiny kitchen area fully equipped with the necessary utensils, dishes, stove, refrigerator and kettle for the stay. A pleasant surprise was the ice left in the refrigerator, given the fact that it was really very warm outside. The rooms are air-conditioned, clean and well-maintained. The bathroom is relatively spacious, well stocked with the necessary toiletries and has a water heater and a washing machine, which is a good solution for a longer stay.

What I consider a disadvantage is that the elevator in the building was not working, and the apartment is located on the fifth floor. The owners warned us about this the night before we traveled, when we could no longer cancel the reservation. During our stay, I got the impression that the elevator was generally not working, but this is not mentioned in the ad for the apartment and this leaves a slightly unpleasant feeling in the tenants. For younger people, it's not much of a drama, but there were two people 70+ with us for whom climbing the stairs to the fifth floor two or three times a day was a relatively unpleasant challenge.

Parkering i kælder var inkluderet og med en placering i gåafstand til alle seværdigheder var det helt perfekt. Rolig beliggenhed.

Elevatoren var desværre i stykker, hvilket gav lidt eksta motion til femte sal.

The accommodation has a good location close to the centre of Skopje and parking is available. The apartment was super clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

This accommodation really deserves a 10 from all points of view. Starting from the hospitality of the host, who waited for us even though we arrived after 10 pm, from showing us some tourist spots and where we could eat at that time. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, clean, bright and beautifully decorated. We will definitely return to this accommodation.

Very spacious and clean apartment close to the main attractions in Skopje. Private parking place. A very warm welcome by the house owner, he even walked up with us to a great Macedonian Restaurant.

Very comfortable beds, very clean apartment. The owner is very helpful with everything. He took care of everything we needed. The location is easy to find. There are markets, restaurants and shopping malls nearby. Parking space has two options, open or garage.

The same as in the pictures shown by host. Apartment is perfect. It is big, spacious, has everything you need. It is in a really nice location close to the main square, building is secured by codes so only residents can enter, building is also modern and has its own car parking space, elevator is working properly which is important since it is on the 5th floor. It feels very safe, neighbourhood and everything. In the apartment a big television is working excellent, has youtube, has netflix, sofa is very comfortable, there is a nice table big for at least 4-5 people, big windows with shades, microwave, big fridge, a toaster and we got some free bottled water and chocolate. There are 2 rooms, one room has one big bed for two people and in other room there are two beds for one person/each, so it is appropriate for a family of 4. In the bathroom you get enough towels, there is enough hot water and everything else is working properly. The hosts were excellent people, they provided us crucial information via whatsapp about building location which is somewhat hard to find on your own and they told us all about cab service since there is no uber or bolt in Macedonia. All in all, the best accommodation I was ever in, and I travel a lot so that says something :)
