Casa que cumpre com o que necessitamos para uma estadia tranquila, bem equipada. Fica numa pequena aldeia super sossegada, sem nada por perto. Mértola a 20m, praia da mina a 40m.

I arrived the house with the code for the keylock box, but the lockbox and keyhole were glued shut. At the owner’s instruction, I tried to open it, which injured me (broken nails, pain). The owner later gave another code to access a different property at the back. This property had an old, heavy metal door which required lifting the whole door while turning the key to enter. I could not open it alone from the inside either. This should have been explained in advance, as it created frightening and unsafe situations. My son, who has a mental disability, became extremely distressed seeing me struggling and frightened, which made the situation even harder to manage. Next to the house was an empty abandoned property not shown in the online listing. It had graffiti on the walls and a broken, open window. This made us feel unsafe, especially at night when going to and from the car. The house was completely isolated, with no neighbours and only one small shop nearby. Because it is very hot in the summer in Portugal, there is only one small window in the house, but the owner had a cctv installed pointing outside, I cannot touch it or open it, as a result, there was no proper air circulation inside, the atmosphere became suffocating and unbearable especially for my disabled son who struggled to cope in these conditions.
