The Cottage

Excellent location for us as we have family and friends in Abergavenny, Raglan & Usk.

The Cottage offered us a special experience. Its location is really beautiful and uplifting with wonderful views across hills. It’s part of a working farm and in a group of other cottages and converted farm buildings which give a warm community feel.

Cottage was beautiful, location was a little disappointing in the fact we had to drive to walk the dogs, was nice and cosy dogs really enjoyed the walks. Had a lovely chilled out few days

There was a lock over the thermostat so you couldn’t turn heating on and was quite cold at times especially of an evening, log fire was on but that only heated up dining room. Door knobs in most rooms came off. Was no cleaning products in cottage do we had to buy them. Hot tub turned off after first night. No batteries in TV remove so we bought them. Beds were really uncomfortable. Advert said fresh eggs daily we did not get these.

Stunning cottage very spacious, felt like we went back in time,when we were kids and spend time in auntie's farm house. Two xl size bedrooms and one small. There was everything you may need and felt like real home. Evenings we enjoy spending a time in a hot tub (water was clean! which is not always that obvious). 5* communication with lovely landlady Rachel. If you looking for a hidden gem and not too far from the town and amenities then this is it ☺️
