Amble Harbour retreats

Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee making supplies, including fresh milk which was a bonus. Fairly easy to get on street parking nearby.

Saturday night was very noisy outside with a pub right across the road as well as other places close by. Also some noisy guests came in late talking loudly and closing doors noisily. After that I could hear someone next door snoring and the fridge in the room was very noisy whenever it started running, so it kept waking me. I'll admit I am quite a light sleeper. The shower was only luke-warm no matter how I tried different settings. Also the only accessible electric sockets were on a trailing extension lead that sparked when I plugged in my phone charger and the USB plug in it got so hot I could barely touch it towards the end of charging. Using the same plug and cable at home, this doesn't happen.

Superb location, will use again, just what we need, shame about the weather…

Fantastic and smooth check in process, was provided with some nice little extras too which is always nice, easy access in and out of the building and owners were always asking me if I needed anything, free WiFi was great for work and in a great location, close to the sea and a few great restaurants.

Nice homely feel to the place in perfect position to everything pub over the road
