Amble Harbour retreats

Quite possibly the closest place to Amble Harbour you can stop?! Hostess lovely. Great theme and peaceful despite being right in Amble Harbour. Street parking possible for free.

The door between the bedroom and the bathroom wouldn’t stay shut. Minor point and didn’t detract much from my experience

An amazing place to stay. The owners were very friendly and the room was comfortable. The location is the best part as it is right on the harvour where you can book a boat trip to watch seals! There are some very good food places right by the harbour too. A short walk into the town centre too. The owners have opened a beer garden right next to the property so it was easy to find them and ask for suggestions (and get a cold beer too)

Not much to fault really, maybe a small food offering in the beer garden would be nice (sandwiches, pies etc)

This accommodation met our needs perfectly. A room only, we didn't need a breakfast provided. We actually prefer to go out to eat and there are lots of good places a few minutes away. The room was comfortable and very clean. There's a small fridge, milk and water was provided, tea, coffee and biscuits, which were replenished and a TV. Plenty of hot water, good shower, shower gels provided. There is a shared lounge downstairs. The location is perfect for the harbour, beach and town. Street parking was easy.

I liked the location 5 stars As I was using trains and buses . My room was clean but basic Bed was comfortable I didn't spend a lot of time in the room as out till late most days . Hosts did ask if I needed any more tea or coffee milk . Great fish and chips shop and Chinese near by .

There was a fridge in the room and tea making facilities. No microwave or toaster Decor basic no luxury. There was an area to sit outside but not set up . Toilet noisy when flushing also when using shower and hot water as I think it was an electric pump ? There was a radiator in the room, but i couldn't get it to work as a couple of evenings. I felt chilly .

More information on the laminated sheet, ie it was not clear we had use of the downstairs lounge. It would help if we knew breakfast outside wasn't going to happen until 9.00 am and where.

Clear and precise communication from the moment of booking. Our fights were delayed from London Heathrow to Newcastle so unfortunately we could only stay for one night instead of two. The bed was super comfortable, the room was spotless, modern and well presented. It was quiet even though other rooms were occupied. Really easy to check in and out. Beautiful little town to walk into for shops, coffee and breakfast the next morning and great location to the harbour and markets on a Sunday! Parking was exceptionally easy. Would definitely stay here again if ever in/near the area. Thankyou so much for your patience and communication with our forever changing flight times.
