Anything that I could have liked about this hotel was diminished by the fact that the hotel staff stole our belongings.

This is not a safe place! One (or more) of the hotel staff-members stole all our money, phones and laptop while we were having breakfast downstairs. The door to our room was locked when we left, and locked when we returned. When we reported this, the receptionist refused to call the police or send someone to get the police. He kept changing his story to prevent us from going to the police ourselves. He falsely claimed we had the only key to access the room. He falsely claimed he checked the security camera's. He falsely claimed the camera's showed that no-one had entered our room. We had to go out and find a police-station ourselves. When we finally got the police to the hotel, it turned out the staff did have extra keys to our room. Also, they could not access the security camera's. We needed to wait for a security member to give us access and review the footage. The footage showed only staff members were on our floor at the time we were robbed. The police agreed that it was a member of the staff who stole our belongings. Sadly, a search of the hotel did not yield our belongings. Of course by then, the thief had had plenty of time to remove our stuff from the premises. The hotel management did not respond to any request for compensation or even refund. We ended up paying the full price, even though they stole from us. This is not a safe place to stay! They robbed us and they got away with it. Who knows what they will do to the next guests. !! UPDATE: Despite what the hotel claims in response to this review, they did NOT reach out to us for apologies or compensation. We have heard nothing from them. They are ignoring all our efforts to contact their management. The staff of this hotel will rob you, prevent you from contacting the police, then the hotel management will ignore you and lie about it on this platform. Stay away from this place. It is not safe.
