THThe location is good to go Magome, Tsumago. Clean and relax with Japanese style room. Good view
Because the room is on the 2nd floor, it was difficult to carry your big luggage upstairs. Also could hear the car noise in the night time.

AUEverything we needed - 7 eleven within walking distance and a restaurant next door. Was great after the nakesendo walk with a medium walk back to the station.
CHWe enjoyed the balcony with great view over the forested hill, bridge and river with evening sun. The appartment was clean and in good condition. The tatami section added a beautiful japanese touch. Contact with the owner was smooth. The owner was reliable and supporting. He helped us finding a dining restaurant. Check in and check out are very easy. A solid coffee restaunt is located close by and the train station is a 5 minutes‘ walk away. The apparment is a great starting point for the Nakasendo Trail with direction to Tsumago.
The apparment is located at a mainroad. Even though it is facing towards the river, traffic noises can be heard through the thin windows. Ear pluggs are provided. Nonethless, if your are a light sleeper, this might bother you. Futons for the tatami section were provied too. However, those proved to be a bit too soft and thin for a fully comfortable and satisfying sleep experience.
CAWe loved our stay. This is an upper floor unit with balcony view over the beautiful Kiso River and the mountains. The unit works well with kitchenette area, living room, bedroom area and an additional area that can be closed off with floor mats and used as a second bedroom. Check in was very easy. The property is immaculate.

GBBeautiful view, very handy location for the nakosendo trail walk to Magome, once you've done the walk having a beer on the balcony watching the sun go down is absolutely lovely. The beds were also comfortable.
A little close to a busy road so you do get some noise at night if you are a light sleeper
