The hosts are very helpful, attentive and lovely! Amazing value for money! The villa was clean, breakfast yummy Please note, not accessible by car, however the owners will take you on a bike and can take your luggage this way too. A short walk to main streets of Penestanan though, or you can catch Gojek if you don’t ride scooter yourself.

We had a very comfortable stay with Kadek and his wife Ilu in Ubud. The place is spacious and well set up, with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, both very clean, with big comfortable beds and great showers. Having a private pool was a real highlight and made it easy to fully relax. The location is excellent: a quiet, tucked-away street with no traffic or bar noise, yet only a few minutes’ walk to many good restaurants and cafés. It’s calm and peaceful, but still very convenient. The property is well equipped — there’s a small fridge with drinks, everything needed to cook if you want, mosquito repellent, power extensions, and other thoughtful touches. Ilu came every second day to clean, change towels, make the beds and keep everything tidy, which we really appreciated. They also offer laundry service and can prepare breakfast if you want. Kadek and Ilu were genuinely kind, helpful and easy to deal with. They gave good local advice without being pushy, and Kadek can also help organise tours or transport depending on what you’re interested in. Overall, we felt very comfortable and well looked after, and it was a great base for our time in Ubud. We’d happily stay here again and we are sad to leave.

We loved the pool and Kadek n his wife were a fantastic hosts. They were both kind, friendly, helpful n reliable. They cooked us tasty breakfast everyday n the housekeeping was exceptional. Highly recommend this place n hope to come back one day soon.

Location close to centre but still in quiet corner. 2 bedroom villa is clean with spacious rooms and 2 bathrooms. Pool is good size and clean. Kitchen is clean and has everything. Big beds and decent mattress. Good hot water pressure. Host and his wife are friendly and cook fresh breakfast in kitchen everyday. Stocked fridge to buy drinks at little cost. Umbrellas, mozzie spray and small things were provided by host which makes life eazy. Host provides scooter rental, offers airport pick up etc at good prices. Stable wifi and 1 Tv small smart tv with inbuilt casting. Interior peaceful and safe location with multiple warungs at walking distance. Grab deliveries available to the villa. Mesari warung is close by and it has great food and little pond with fish and a cat onsite keeps kids entertained. Great villa if u want to relax and mainly spend time there.

Villa not reachable by taxi but we knew about it. 600 mt walk from gajah biru parking. Internal road is narrow so requires good scooter skills if you rent one. Pillows could be better.
