Wir waren als Familie zu dritt im Amara Suites Santorini und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel wird familiär geführt und man spürt sofort die herzliche, persönliche Atmosphäre. Alle – die Familie und das gesamte Team – waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets zuvorkommend. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Dimitris, den Eigentümer, der sich persönlich um alles gekümmert hat – sei es um tolle Empfehlungen oder die Buchung unserer Ausflüge. Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt wie zuhause willkommen gefühlt. Auch die Lage ist perfekt: Der Strand ist nur 2–3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, gleich um die Ecke gibt es einen Quad-, Roller- und Pkw-Verleih, und direkt daneben findet man sogar einen kleinen Mini-Markt – ideal für alles, was man zwischendurch braucht. Zudem wurde auch auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen: Da unser Rückflug später war, durften wir ganz entspannt später auschecken, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Dimitris and his team made this holiday exceptional We were welcomed by Demetris late at night due to a lengthy delay with our flight. We were introduced to the whole team, who we felt wanted us to have the best experience. The food was lovely , the breakfasts are delicious . We recieved advice and help about excursions and enjoyed a lovely day trip organised by Demitris and his driver. The room and pool area were exceptionally clean

Das Frühstück war super und das Zimmer sehr schöne und sauber. Tägliche Reinigung. Mahlzeiten waren auch sehr lecker wie auch die Bar/Drinks. Sehr familiäres und angenehmes Personal. Sehr schöne Ferien auch für mehr als 7 Tage We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Amara! This is a family-run hotel, and the hospitality we experienced was outstanding. Dimitris is an exceptionally warm, attentive, humorous, and helpful host who makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. Breakfast is fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. The hotel is ideal for couples or anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and a quiet getaway. The location is excellent – just a short 3–5 minute walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. It’s also a great base if you want to visit places like Oia, Fira, or Ancient Thira, while still staying away from the overcrowded tourist areas. Highly recommended for anyone seeking both comfort and authenticity in Santorini!

מלון נקי מאוד ומתוחזק היטב. החדרים גדולים, יפים ונקיים, מנקים את החדרים כל יום. הצוות נהדר. השירות לבבי ואדיב מאוד, בעל הבית משתדל לעזור בכל דבר. כיף מאוד לשבת באזור של הבריכה והבר. האוכל טעים מאוד, גם בארוחת הבוקר ומי שמעוניינים במנות בצהריים ובערב האוכל מצוין. 3 דקות הליכה לטיילת ולחוף הים.

This family-run boutique hotel is a delight. The owners’ kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel instantly at home, and the service is exceptional. The food was a highlight: fresh, beautifully prepared and made with care. Breakfasts were generous and set us up perfectly for the day. The rooms and common areas were spotless and meticulously maintained. This hotel is an experience of true hospitality!

Der Eigentümer an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war trotz spontaner Buchung schnell parat. Das Frühstück für uneingeschränkte Esser war sehr lecker.

Dimitris the owner and his family were the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever had. The hotel was just perfect in every way.

This hotel is well maintained, clean, friendly staff with excellent food and amazing location. The family who runs the restaurant make the restaurant stand out and it provides a welcoming atmosphere. Our group of 14 enjoyed our time in the pool and the proximity to the beach and shopping in the nearby shops. I loved the private pool and jacuzzi as well as the daily room/towell service. The hotel also provided and arranged affordable and safe transportation to multiple locations during our stay in Santorini.

Our favorite was the amazing breakfast, so much so that our group of 14 booked a private dinner to celebrate special birthdays. The chefs at Amara’s prepared a traditional Greek family dinner for all 14 of us. We enjoyed, lamb, chicken gyro, sea bass and shrimp, along with delicious salads and their own wine. All was superb!
