The Lookout

Great location, owner was very helpful. The lookout was a lovely spot to relax and look at the views. Comfortable beds. Would love to return.

The property was clean, spacious and homely. Also it's ideally located for exploring the beautiful Northumberland countryside and coastline.

The property was lovely, the only small criticism I have is that being on the main road I found the traffic quite noisy early in the morning. Other than that it was spot on.

Loved the location (everything in Alnwick was in close walking distance). It was a great base to explore the surrounding area of Alnmouth, Seahouses and Bamburgh by car. Size and style of the appartment was excellent. It was clean and well appointed. The property felt very safe and secure and had a dedicated parking space to the rear in a walled courtyard. The lookout tower at the top of the appartment gave a truly unique and special view of Alnwick. It was a lovely space to sit and lookout over the town with a glass of wine in the evening or with a cup of coffee in the morning. Correspondance and information from the owner was excellent.

Television reception was not good

Very comfortable beds, well decorated, clean. It has character. The central location is great.

Getting through from the car park is a little complex, but that is the nature of the building. No tea towels in the kitchen.

Location

Shower and bath can't be run at the same time. Shower good until partner ran bath.....then shower ran very cold. 2 bed appt my needs to be better on hot water for bath/shower.
