Casa Apollo Guesthouse

Delightful renovated guesthouse with Beautiful garden and small pool ….very good breakfast on the lovely terrace. A little piece of heaven. Very walkable. Highly recommend it.

It. was in an excellent central location in Faro but just outside the really busy area. Our room was lovely with a pool view, separate toilet, spacious and well equipped including air con . Bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were amazing with a daily array of fresh fruits, breads, cereals, cheeses and charcuterie. Cooked eggs were also available and home baked cake. The pool area was an asset to cool down in or simply relax in the shade. Staff were friendly and always keen to help. My wife was a little unwell one day and they looked after really well. A big thank you from us to Jean Paul and the team.

Just one small issue. Pillows were a bit hard for my personal taste.

Het hotel is op vele vlakken erg aantrekkelijk : comfort, uitrusting, inrichting van de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes met opvallende exotische planten die uitstekend verzorgd zijn. Nog positiever en voor ons belangrijker was de zorgzaamheid, de beschikbaarheid en de kwaliteit van het personeel waarbij we in het bijzonder verwijzen naar Saïda en Gladys die steeds zijn tegemoet gekomen aan onze vragen met een natuurlijke spontane vriendelijkheid. Zij hebben onze vakantie een meerwaarde gegeven. De uitbater zelf en zijn personeel hebben ons een bijzonder mooie vakantie laten beleven : een meerwaarde voor Faro en een stevige aanrader voor een heel bijzondere ervaring.

Er zijn voor ons geen negatieve punten te melden .

Wir waren nur eine Nacht vor Ort und konnten leider den sehr schönen Garten und das Frühstück gar nicht nutzen. Der Garten wirkte wir eine kleine Oase. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, sehr geschmackvoll.

Très bonne localisation Personnel exceptionnel, fabuleux petit déjeuner, produits frais et locaux. La propreté de la chambre. Maison avec beaucoup de charme. Jean Paul est dèlicat et attentionné envers ses hôtes Merci pour ce séjour

The Suite was spacious, modern, comfortable, well-equipped and exceptionally clean. It was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was effective and quiet, once we had mastered it. Some instructions would have been helpful. The centre of Faro, good restaurants, shops, and the harbour were an easy walk away. We had a good Italian meal at nearby La Forchetta, a very good and cheap Nepali meal at Mani's Mo:Mo (€110 for 6 people), another very good Italian meal at FornoNero, and a good Asian fusion dinner at Monki (a short Uber ride away). Breakfast was taken in the lovely enclosed garden. Ingredients included fresh home grown guava, eggs cooked to order, and homemade cake. We did not use the small swimming pool but it looked very clean and we were told it was 28C. The entire staff seemed to be French and all were friendly. Faro beach is a drive, or ferry ride, or Uber away. The car parking is free but fills up.

It would have been nice to have been offered welcome drinks when we arrived, hot and thirsty. All drinks, including tea and coffee made in the room, seemed to have a price. Parking in the narrow street was hit and miss, but we managed to park close to the guest house or within a few minutes walk.

Un petit paradis. Jean Paul et les serveuses sont très sympas et parlent français.
