The Cranagh

The most picturesque location topped only by wonderful hosts! Nothing was too much - Eileen and Seamus were great company and amazingly generous hosts! I would highly recommend this site as a base for exploring the Causeway Coast!

Escape to The Crannagh and experience its calm, peaceful atmosphere—the perfect place to relax and recharge. Surrounded by water, beautiful trees, and farm, it offers a truly cosy and peaceful countryside retreat. The owners are exceptionally warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make guests feel at home. They kindly provided transport from the train station when I arrived from the airport and also gave me a lift back to the station for my return journey, making my stay even more convenient and enjoyable. I highly recommend The Crannagh to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a tranquil and picturesque setting.

The Caravan is in a beautiful quiet location but with great access to Coleraine Portstewart and Portrush /North Coast area. It is an older static caravan with basic dated decor and typical sized amenities and accomodation for a van of its type. It was comfortable clean has good cooking and eating facilities, plenty of hot water and warm and cosy. Shower was excellent! Great setting for those who love the outdoors. The owner was very welcoming and available close by if needed.

The hot water in the toilet basin didn't flow so used shower water if needed.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Made us feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Facilities were excellent, clean and maintained to good standard. Lovely views across the river, very nice and peaceful area. Very accessible to both local towns - Coleraine and Portstewart. Good location. Definitely recommend this facility and location. We really enjoyed her stay, thanks to the hosts for their kind hospitality.

Some mould in the bathroom ceiling (as expected with a caravan), however, this didn't affect our quality of stay. Bathroom was clean and tidy, everything required for your stay (towels, shower gel, toilet roll etc).

The view for me got to watch trains go past boats as well thought the host was excellent lovely gentleman the mobile home ticked all our boxes clean fantastic view and great value for money will be going back over the summer time
