Kythera secrets suites

The location is central in the island, so we were about 30 minutes from everywhere (the island is pretty big)

We booked 2 apartments for 2 families. The stone apartment is not suitable for a family as there is no space to eat for breakfast. The table is super tiny and the space outside didn’t have anything to shadow the area except a broken umbrella which didn’t work considering that in Greece meltemi blows always. The second “room” for the kids was exposed to the rising sun and didn’t have a blackout curtains nor anything to keep the room dark and fresh, do the kids were awake every morning very early with a lot of light and hot (air cond is only in the bedroom). The owner showed up after 3 days when we had trouble with the toilet maintenance. He is a kind person and offered a fan for the kitchen/ room but to be honest for the price we paid (more than €200 per night) our staying wasn’t as we expected. The apartment is ok for a couple but for a family needs adjustments

The rooms are in a serene location, far away from any noise or distraction, very close to the beautiful village of Mitata. Very clean and the traditional constuction made for a very original experience. The host was very helpful with his instructions and it was easy to find the rooms and the keys. They also left us sleep a bit late after ending our work in the early morning our the day before which was a nice gesture.

Well the rooms were really nice but not for a big group like ours. There were 2 large double beds but the rest of the beds were couches, 2 of which were rather small for grown men (for kids they would be ideal). Also they rooms were quite pricey but that I was rather expecting in Kythira due to the island's lack of options.

Exceptionally decoraded, spotless, very comfortable for a family of four. Owners very friendly, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable giving us very useful tips for our stay in the island

Everything was perfect! The room was above expectations, clean and nice! Facilities in the room and in the place was very nice and also George (the host) was very polite and we had everything we need!

The suites are located in a picturesque village in the center of the island, in a strategic location with easy access to all destinations. The room is spacious, airy, and sunny, beautifully decorated with new facilities and appliances. The owners are very kind, friendly, and always willing to help and serve.

A hidden Jewel in Kythera. Amazing rooms cared for up to the last detail, exceeded our expectations. Everything is new and of top quality, with nice finishes and small touches that make you feel like a home and not a hotel room. George, the owner made us feel like friends, well taken care of and with tips on where to go and where to eat at the best places. We will definitely return for a longer stay next time!

Everything was really nice! The location was perfect as we needed ~25 minutes to get to all beaches & chora, and way less for other traditional villages. The room was very spacey, new and nicely decorated. Even though breakfast was not included in price there were some fruit, crackers and juice for us.

Beautiful and proper sized perfectly clean room, with huge bathroom, full new kitchen and nice decorations. Big balcony with mountain view !! George is a very friendly and helpful owner!! He points you to the best sightseeing’s and restaurants of the island even some of the hiking paths near the village!! Perfect choice, located in the center of the island which will cut of a lot of distance if you want to explore Kythera..
