Hassim and his wonderful wife welcomed me into their home with incredible kindness and generosity. He truly has a heart of gold. Staying with them was so much more than just accommodation – it was a deep and genuine cultural experience. Hassim also runs a nearby warung where the food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic Indonesian flavors. He took me to visit local friends, showed me hidden spots, joined me for beautiful sunsets, and gave me rides to many places. If you're looking for a real connection with local life and people, this is the place. Terima kasih, Hassim! 🙏

The most incredible accomodation ever! Two room - the one upstairs is the best I think - views over the patties and ocean. Full board, beautiful family and host. They are happy for you to do what you want :) very chill home stay. Great for solo travellers

Perfect place

I love this place because it's really really friendly, Hassim and Artini want you to have the best time you can have. They will cook for you and you will never be hungry, the food is so good because they own a restaurant and they are very good cooks. You will meet reel Indonesians and visit places without tourists thanks to Hassim who wants you to discover his Island that he loves. If you just want to chill and be alone don't go there, it's not a 5star resort but it's a real Indonesian family and you will be part of it.

I didn't like leaving this place because it really feels like family, first time I'm really sad because I genuinely love this family.

Hasim and Hatini were like our family away from home. We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity we received on this homestay. Hasim took so much pride in showing us around and teaching us about Lombok culture. We met a lot of his friends and ate all the food his restaurant (Tanjung warung.) This was the best food I’ve eaten in Indonesia! If you’re looking for a resort stay or hotel accomodation this place may not be for you. This is an experience more about culture snd cuisine and living with the most generous people in the world. After two nights we felt like family. Nothing was too hard for Hasim and Hatini. You made our trip truely unforgettable. Thank you for your time. We wish to be more like you.

Sometimes you find a place during your travels that feels like home. It’s the people you find around you who make this happen. Staying here in Tanjung with Hasim and Hatini left me with this sensation. In every way you might imagine, Hasim and Hatini went above and beyond to make me feel less like I was ‘staying’ and more like ‘returning’. Over just two days, they introduced me to an array of new foods, Dangdut music, and a heap of new Indonesian words. We explored the waterfalls together, enjoyed Ramadan meals together and met some of their family. I want to be this kind with people! Terima kasih atas segalanya. Aku tidak akan melupakanmu!

Azim gave the best welcome ever. His house is your house. Comfortable, clean and quiet. He took me to a secret waterfall that was beautiful, only people there. The food prepared was fresh and tasty. They went above and beyond.

This is not just a normal stay, this is as the name suggests, home. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel stay, this place might not be for you. If not, please read on. I don't usually write reviews, but the treatment I got here, I would feel bad not giving a clear 10/10. See this as more of a review of Hasim, probably one of the best hosts in Indonesia, then the room itself. I was welcomed in open arms, Hasim then took me around on his bike and treated me to complimentary food (for free). As I only stayed one night and already had plans in Tanjung, I got limited time with Hasim. But during my one night stay, he treated me for lunch, dinner, and a really nice breakfast. He is also good company and has a really good positive attitude, and I had a great time just chatting with him. Especially for a solo traveller like me, it's a pleasure meeting such a friendly soul and also learning a bit more about the place from a local. So especially if you are a solo/budget traveller, or a younger couple, looking for a local experience outside a comfortable hotel, this is probably the best experience (and value for money) you are going to get. If I ever go back I will 100% visit here again, and I'm so glad I was lucky enough to get this level of hospitality.
