The Cottage

Super accueil, hôte très sympathique et arrangeant. . Logement spacieux, agréable et climatisé. Arrêt de bus à proximité du logement.

Environnement un peu bruyant mais c'est logique vu la proximité de l'aeroport et des accès routier. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de bien dormir.

We have just returned from our 13 night break at the cottage. It was great the owner collected and dropped as off free of charge. The owner kindly gave us fresh laid eggs anytime we wanted them and grapes directly from the vine. We also were able to pick fresh limes. We were provided with a large BBQ with gas which we used a number of times. Wi Fi and TV were good and had great air conditioning. The owner also when we requested provided 8 large bottles of water for our stay as would of been heavy to carry. Just across the road was the convenience store which was open daily 0700 to 2300 and had an afternoon fruit and veg stall outside. We did use this store but often walked to Lidl store about 15 mins away go out the gate and turn left. I did use Lidl alot with the added bonus of the welcome bar and grill on route to Lidl. This cafe/bar served good food and drinks. I often stopped on route to get a full english breakfast with a beer for 9 euros. Within several minutes walk you have other places to eat and drink. We were going to hire a car but the bus routes are so good and cheap that we just used the buses. We went on the bus to Valetta twice with the bus stop by the convenience store and was easy with the fare only 2.50 euros single but you can get it even cheaper if you buy a travelcard. The other main bus stop is go outside the gate and turn right with 5 minute walk to the bus stop where many destinations. We went by bus to the beach at Birzebbuga and to the town of Bugibba all 2.5 euros single. Buses are easy and no reason the hire a car. Overall had a great stay and used the pool daily and enjoyed our BBQs. The hosts are very helpful and kind. Yes its by the airport and roads but this did not affect us.

Thanks for the landlord taking me to the airport as I have to take an early flight. The house is tidy and cozy with all equipments.

emplacement pratique à pied de l'aéroport, à deux pas d'une superette et 1km de Lidl pour le recyclage des bouteilles. Malgré la proximité de la route et l'aéroport, pas trop de bruit. En un mot : parfait

El apartamento esta ubicado junto al aeropuerto y lo elegimos por ello, mas cerca creo que es impsoible. Giovanni nos espero hasta las tres y media de la mañana, incluso se ofrecio a recogernos, un gesto barbaro por su parte La habitacion perfecta, nos dejaron agua y capsulas de cafe para el desayuno, lastima no haber llegado antes y disfrutar de la piscina

Everything was perfect - we wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight home. The Cottage is really perfect for this . The owner was even able to give us a lift to the airport in the morning . When we arrived we had a dip in the small pool . There is lots of seating outside, Aircon inside , a kitchen , living room , bathroom and additional toilet . All very good.

Leaving Malta !

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool was refreshing after a days sightseeing adventure and first thing in the morning. Rooms were spotless and everything was hand to use with little extra touches.
