Modubu Lodge

It is a very nice, quiet and peaceful place. The pool area was my favorite!!! The animals on the property.

The lighting inside the house is very bad/poor, better lighting would be great! The bugs and insects, we couldn’t leave the door open or sit outside due to the bugs.

Cottage has everything you need. Very comfortable. Lovely warm water swimming pool. The owners put out feed close to cottages so you are able to see some of the animals up close.

Unit we stayed in was attached to another unit. And we could clearly hear everything the neighbours were up to, and especially when tv was loud.

The water temperature was quickly corrected every time it got cold, they promised tranquility and that was served 🙂the hosts were very hospitable The cabins are strategically situated so there's less distraction from the neighbors

The farm is peaceful. I liked that the units were far from each other, ensuring privacy. Thaba Thipa was absolutely an oasis for peace and tranquility. I enjoyed the lovely, sufficiently challenging hike. The views from the mountain were fabulous. The kids had Netflix to entertain themselves. There was even cleaning service that came in daily. The owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Communication was quick and efficient. I would gladly visit again. Thank you.

I can't think of anything to complain about. Our stay was exceptional.

I loved how we dealt directly with the owners, Maria and Leon. They took their time to meet us at the gate upon our arrival and showed us our chalet. They personally handed the keys to us after they greeted us and shook our hands. This blew me away and made me feel important, valued and very much welcomed.
