Hilltop Restaurant and guesthouse

I had some very nice, relaxed days at Hilltop guest house. I was the only guest in these days and the owner/staff took very well care of me, so that I felt safe and had everything I needed. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed and of course the amazing view with a nice breakfast on the terrace. I hope to come back with some clear weather.

I liked the warm friendliness of the owner and staff who can go a long way to accommodate guests. The (upgraded) quiet room with a beautiful view of the mountains was clean and toiletries were avaliable. One could make coffee or tea if they liked. I had dinner here and it was more than satisfactory. Last but not least, breakfast, which was included in the price, was abundant and very good. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Although I only spent one night here, being used to pay with Paytm in India and after seeing it can be used in Nepal without commissions, I would very much appreciate the same here. Other than this, everything was super and I will definitely come back in the future.

Die Lage ist einfach Klasse, direkt am View Tower. Ich konnte von meinem Zimmer aus den Sonnenaufgang sehen sowie Annapurna II und Manaslu. Von der Dachterrasse aus sieht man noch viel mehr. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück war super und der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war insgesamt 2 Nächte dort, was ich nur empfehlen kann. An einem Tag war es etwas bewölkt, aber dafür am anderen Tag war die Aussicht einfach fantastisch! Ich habe von hier eine sehr schöne Wanderung nach Kaskikot gemacht, was ich nur empfehlen kann.

Die Position des Guest Houses ist auf Bookingcom nicht richtig eingezeichnet, irgendwo weiter unten am Berg (besser auf Google Maps ansehen). Aber es ist tatsächlich genau oben auf dem Bergkamm und man hat fantastische Aussicht auf das Annapurna Massiv!

The hotel is very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Delicious food and big breakfast. A nice place on top of the hill with a cable to Pokhara closeby. I had a pleasant stay.

I booked the room for one night to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. I came up by the cable car and then a 10min up hill walk. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy and the little things like a kettle and tea made it really welcoming. The bathroom was also really clean and had hot water. Outside of the room is a large terrace overlooking Pokhara and the lake. Above the hotel is the restaurant with stunning views from the terrace and serving delicious food, reasonably priced. The property is right next to the view tower so no need to walk up a huge hill first thing on a morning for sunrise. Even though the property is in a remote location, it feels very safe and secure. The property is owned by a really friendly family who make you feel very welcome, they also provide a delicious breakfast. I would certainly recommend a stay here

The Hilltop Restaurant and Guesthouse is located close to the viewing tower so it has a great view. Our room had a mountain view so we did not need to leave it to see the sunrise if we didn’t want to. There is a large balcony off the rooms with a beautiful view and a lovely breeze. The restaurant of the hotel serves excellent, fairly priced food. You can eat in the restaurant, on the roof top, in your room or on the balcony. It is owned by a family who are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and would stay there again if we found ourselves back in Sarangkot (which I hope we will).

A physically disabled person would have difficulty with the stairs between the restaurant and the guesthouse.
