St Clements Guesthouse

The property was super clean and felt new. The host let us drop off our luggage in the morning, before check in, and honored my request for a bedroom facing the back, rather than the street. The kitchen was well stocked for a morning coffee.

Our second story bedroom was super warm all night long (in July). We slept with the window open to let in night air. Our bedroom faced the back. The bedroom fan was on a timer, so when it turned off every hour, the street noise woke us up, and we would turn the fan back on.

Guest house charmante, très propre. Chambres petites mais bien arrangées. Grande Cuisine toute équipée. On a apprécié la proximité du centre, accessible a pieds en 10 min avec les enfants, l'arrêt de bus juste devant pour l'arrivée et le départ de Londres avec le Oxford Tube et le petit déjeuner disponible dans le frigo! Les deux salles de bains suffisent pour tout le monde, nous n'avons pas eu de soucis.

Tout était super!

Such a cute place with great facilities. Great location just a walking distance from Oxford and there were bus stops right infront of the house. Yvonne was so friendly and helpful with everything!

It was quite hot and sunny while we stayed so it was a little hot in our room. But there was a fan and we kept the window open at night.

Comfy bed and pillows, clean room. Self check-in in was easy and plenty of communication from host.

Shared bathroom (one of two) was slightly unclean with quite a lot of grime along edges of floor and in the sink, around tap. Would have been a perfect stay if it had been a bit more cleanly. Also, the room was quite a bit smaller than what I saw online.

if you're travelling with a heavy luggage, taking it up the stairs can be a challenge. other than that, everything was great.

Very clean and well kept, surprisingly spacious for one room. The shared bathrooms were very clean also, and the shared kitchen was clean and very useable. I would return and recommend to others! Light and bright room, plenty of storage, very nice decor and comfy beds.

In the bedroom a second bedside table would have been appreciated (there is plenty of room) and larger towels would be handy for those of us with bigger bodies. The shower gel left for use in the showers was super cheap, a slightly nicer one would have fitted the vibe of the beautiful house better.

Super easy to check-in, a supremely comfortable bed and large rooms; modern and spotlessly clean bathrooms; kitchen had everything you needed and such a nice addition to have basic breakfast foods provided. Easy to access from the Science Park by bus, and great location walking to town.

The rooms are simple but functional; for this and being a self-checkin place with no staff, the price is a little on the high, albeit comparatively still reasonable. Although can be worked out, signs on the bathroom and kitchen doors would be nice.
