Villa Maria

Die Lage des Appartments war sagenhaft. Direkt vor dem Haus kann man schwimmen gehen. Für 50 € kann man bei Milan dem Vermieter ein Boot für einen Tag leihen. Die Vermieter sind sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und nett. Bei Problemen waren sie immer da und wir wurden täglich mit frischen Früchten von ihrem Feld versorgt, bekamen ein Begrüßungspräsent und wurden herzlich mit Kuchen und Getränken empfangen.

Das Appartment war ein wenig eng. Milan hat aber mehrere Appartments und es war nur noch dieses kleine frei.

The best stay in Zaklopatica! You can jump out of the bed straight to the see. And the owner welcomes you as a part of the family.

Amazing view and location. Charming place, nice and clean with good AC. Lovely swimming spot just below the house. Friendly hosts who shared vegetables from their garden. Calm and beautiful surroundings. We had a really nice and relaxing stay at Villa Maria.

We are very pleased with our stay. We had an amazing view over the bay from our room. The surrounding area was beautiful and calm. Our apartment was nice and clean. Milan was a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. He rented us a small boat so we could discover more of Lastovos beaches!

I had a lovely stay at the Villa Maria in Zaklopatica. The views from the apartment were stunning and peaceful. If you wanted you could easily spend a day on the terrace reading a book. The apartment had all I needed with a fully equipped kitchen and was a really good size. The same could be said for the private terrace. There were some nice touches. I was invited a couple of times to eat with Milan and his mother (who I think the Villa is named after). They gave me some home made jam made from their own oranges. Also, Milan allowed me to use a car with the advise of just leave the key in the ignition so as not to lose them. Not much crime on Lastovo I think ! Also since the family that owns the villa is born and raised there over generations there was lots of info on places to go and about the history of the island. Would really recommend and you get a more authentic experience as the family is of the island.

There are not many/any shops in Zakloopatica so maybe arrive with some supplies, especially if you arrive late. But Lastovo is only 2km away if you have a car and I found easily walkable.

Everything was perfect and wonderful. The apartment is well equipped, we could park our car, the view was amazing and the host was so nice. We would come back!
