Nutmeg Cottage SIARGAO 2BR exclusive whole house

Spacious and comfortable. A couple of hiccups re water and power but manageable. Housekeeping did a great job!

I wish the kitchen and living room had AC as well. The bedrooms do. But it was not a big deal. Also the water and powers hi occupancy only happened 2x in 2 weeks so not a big deal. There are a couple of bugs but to beexpectes.

The location is good.

The finishing and general state of disrepair is really sub par. The worst thing is the open wires in the shower which are a major safety hazard and has made us decide to vacate the premises within an hour after arrival. It’s just not worth risking getting electrocuted. When we contacted the owner about this they didn’t reply for days. Only when booking got involved we received a short reply that we were not going to get any of our money back.

Lovely location near the main beach, lots of food options around and not noisy as tucked away from the road. Lovely staff who cleaned the house regularly, and went above and beyond with tidying up (even folded our laptop wires neatly which was so sweet)!! We also had a small accident in the rain on their bike rental and they were extremely understanding and reasonable pricing what needed fixing which was very kind!

Didn’t struggle with mosquitoes which is a problem elsewhere which was great, however there were quite a few ants but they caused no bother and to be expected somewhere rural.

Beautiful accomodation, friendly owner, clean and in a great location.

Beautiful house in a less crowded area of General Luna. But still close enough to everything. Clean, big, comfortable beds, towels, good working ac with a kitchen and a little tarrace. Its only a 3 min walk to cloud 9, Shaka for breakfast and a massage next door. Close to the Catangan Bridge which is amazing and fun for sunset. The host was so kind. She helped us with everything we needed. We were able to rent scooters at the accommodation, she arranged the island hopping tour for us, transportation from and to the port, gave tips for the area and when my phone crashed on check out time, she helped me to find a good repair shop. Analyn was so kind and the best host we could wish for. Thank you for everything! Would stay here again for sure the next time when visiting Siargao!
