De prachtige omgeving, top plek om het Noorden van Sardinië te verkennen .. het huisje heeft veel potentieel, maar .. dan moeten er paar zaken verbeterd worden

De voorzieningen van keukengerei... Ik moet wel toegeven, dat Fabio de eigenaar wel behulpzaam is geweest en dat we enkele zaken hebben kunnen kopen die hij direct heeft terugbetaald .. dus we hebben ons wel kunnen behelpen .. mijn raad aan Fabio is om alles eens goed te controleren en oude, niet bruikbare zaken te vervangen..

We had a very disappointing experience on the beautiful place Costa Paradiso. It started with a very bad communication with the company that take care of the rent of the appartment for the owner. I notified the rental company, if it was ok if we would arrive at 15h. They responded: OK. At 15.01 I sent a WhatsApp that we have arrived with a picture. As she did not respond, I called here. She said we were wrong and sent a video that is made out of the car and was not clear when you are at a place for the first time. When we called her again she said that she has other customers and that it was our problem. She would only be at the place an hour later. Very rude as we were tired and looking to unpack and refresh ourselves. She could have responded to my first email that at 15 hours she would not be there but that wr could try to find it on our own, and otherwise that we have to arrive later, so she could be at the facility. But she just said ok….When we found it on our own with help from some people in the area. We found the equipment very poor, there were in total 5 glasses, and no wine glasses. Also only 1 larger coffee cup. The double bed seems to be old and make a lot of noise and was also not comfortable. The shower did not give a lot of water and was also not clean. And the last morning there was also no gas. We only used it to make coffee luckily and we always had dinner at the restaurant, otherwise we would have had no gas after 2/3 days.

costa Paradiso is very nice

The house did not meet our expectations. The garden was completely neglected—nobody had taken care of it, and it was overgrown. Thick bushes made it difficult to move through, rendering the garden essentially unusable. Inside, the furniture was of low quality and there was not enough space. We did not feel comfortable. The kitchen lacked a proper hood for ventilation, so cooking anything substantial wasn’t really an option. The TV didn’t receive any signal, despite our attempts to sync it. In the garden, wild boars were wandering around and approaching us, seemingly looking for food. It was unsettling and made us feel unsafe. However, the worst part was what happened after we reported these issues to the owner. He initially agreed, in a polite manner, to refund us if we chose to leave early. Based on that proposal , we found alternative , informed the owner and checked out. But when we requested the refund, the owner changed his position and offered only a very small amount—around one-third of what was agreed. I consider this very poor behavior. I involved Booking.com, but unfortunately, they were unable to help because our communication with the owner did not take place through their platform. My only remaining option now appears to be legal action. I strongly advise everyone to only communicate with the owner of this property through Booking.com to ensure proper support in case of any issues.

We really liked the house and the location. The area was lovely, with a great pool and a charming town nearby. It was a beautiful place to stay.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was poor, and we had to clean ourselves when we arrived. We also had major issues with ants in one of the bedrooms, which was a big problem during our stay. The hosts were quite rude when we contacted them about the issue. They provided small, ineffective solutions that didn’t work, and they only responded properly after we escalated the issue to Booking.com. The ant problem was particularly stressful, especially since we were traveling with a child, and it disrupted their sleep for two nights. Although the hosts promised to refund us for the cleaning fee and for the two nights we were disturbed, they did not keep their word and stopped communicating with us, which was very unpleasant.

Private, safe, and quiet location. We appreciated having a washing machine. The pool is accessible until 23:30, and we had it to ourselves.

I was missing wine glasses and some basic ingredients in the kitchen.

I recommend it wholeheartedly. A great place to relax. The only minus is the lack of a working swimming pool, but there were so many other pluses that we would be happy to come back.
