Dream Beach

We sat a stared at the amazing view of the sea at breakfast- and again over dinner!

Property is well equipped, maintained with great facilities. Very clean and almost felt like home. It’s located perfectly if you like to have a walk along the seafront enjoy the beaches and ocean. The views were stunning and positioned on the beach… it’s ideal for families who want to enjoy the shallow waters and beach fun and also for swimmers or paddle boarding as it’s a very gradual beach so you will be able to stand up easily for quite a way out. Ideal with small children. Great to have parking and a place to get good breakfast just over the road unless you like to cook in the apartment. Highly recommend and Matt, the owner, has done a fantastic job renovating the properties and very friendly and helpful should you require any assistance of advice.

The property is in a lovely location, very close to the sea front. It was clean and spacious, with comfortable chairs. Bed comfort tends to be subjective - I would rate them as medium stiffness and we all slept well. The road to the rear of the property is quite busy. It was audible from the twin room but (with the windows closed) it was not a problem.

The whole front of the house was covered in scaffolding. This seriously detracted from the view (which was our prime reason for booking the property). We have no knowledge of how long the scaffolding will be in place, however we only observed one person (the host) working on it, so it may not be short term. The host was very helpful and friendly and would generally have scored a '10', however I felt he could have warned us about the state of the property in advance of our visit and hence the low score. Had we been aware, we would have cancelled as it fell far short of what was advertised and did not meet our criteria. Although the property was fairly expensive, it should offer reasonable value for money when the scaffolding is removed. As the view, which provides much of the 'value', was largely obscured by the scaffolding, I could only score the value as poor. Whilst the interior is generally very good, work is ongoing in the third bedroom and part of it is not plastered or painted (not a particular concern for us as there were only three of us staying). Facilities is scored low based on the very limited parking. For much of our stay, a neighbour was away and the host made arrangements which greatly improved the parking situation. However, on the final morning, we had to knock on the door of the adjacent apartment as, despite them being parked in their correct space, we could not get out (we drive a Golf, so not a large car).

This is a fantastic, spacious, clean apartment with everything you could possibly need for a home from home. The apartment has stunning unobstructed sea views with picture windows that can be opened fully. Matt is a perfect helpful host who is willing to go the extra mile. We will definitely be booking to stay here again M&J ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The convenience of close to the sea and not too much of a walk to the town etc. A well equipped apartment and nice and clean. Parking was also great to have.

Quite a few stairs and just something to be aware of. Maybe a full length mirror by a plug would be a good idea.Not everyone would have this request but if you are short sighted like me I couldn't see to do my hair.

The coastal view from the living room and the main bedroom is the best you can ask for especially when the weather was good. Location very convenient as just outside the main centre. Having a private area to park the car a big advantage although took some careful manoeuvring to drive back onto the busy main road. Very clean and spacious apartment with all the essentials you would need in the kitchen. The welcome gifts were deeply appreciated. Matt the owner was very helpful and easily contactable when needed more information.

Would advise just to be careful with opening the windows as needs to be done in a certain way but there were some handy instructions to help.

Great location with fabulous sea views. Comfortable, recently refurbished well equipped apartment. Onsite parking and walking distance into Weymouth. Excellent communication with Matt - would definitely recommend and will return in the future.
