Location and size . It's cooler near the wall and is easy to get into the centre.

The stairs were a struggle this time as I am using a stick currently but normally this wouldnt be an issue .

great location, quiet yet convenient, great water pressure in a big shower. well-appointed with supplies.

more stairs then expected - 42! but well-lit and manageable- and nice view from the balcony.

The appartment is located in the center, next to the gates to get out. So it is very convenient to visit Lucca but also for going out in other cities. Travelling with toddlers, we loved to have a nice playground just next to the appartment. Plenty of parking space around (Be careful for the plue area to pay the meeter, police is quick on giving fine). Appartment is very well equipped.

We had a bit of bad luck when we arrive as the shower had a leak and no hot water but it was solve within 24 hours after we mentionned it. Kuddos to get a plumber in such short notice ! Gas was turned off and it took us a couple of minutes to figure out where we could bring it back on. Not ideal when two babies are crying for food :) Solved quickly with the help of our host but those issues could be avoided with a check before travellers arrive.

Quiet and spacious

Great location within the old town walls but away from the noise. Right next to the house is a bike rental place - a bike tour along the wall and outside - a great way to spend time! 16 minutes to the station. The old town itself is within walking distance. Special thanks to the host for helping with the situation with forgotten keys in the apartment :))

Great location. Elegant, spacious, tasteful, serene...

Not ready/cleaned when I arrived, but no problem: left my bag and went for a walk on the beautiful walls just outside the flat.
