Short walk to several of the sights in Sligo, plus there is shopping close by as well. Restaurants and pubs are all close proximity as well as a few takeaway places for a quick bite. Kitchen had the necessary cooking items to make most meals. The outdoor patio was great for hanging up laundry to dry and sitting outside to relax or have a drink at the small outdoor table. The house is small but comfortable.

The WIFI was spotty, I moved the router and it got a bit better. I parked right in front to unpack bags but it was limited to two hours so I moved the car up the street a across from the petrol station where 24hour parking was allowed.

I booked 2 nights for a family (parents and teenage son) and only stayed one night. This place is dump and unconfortable. Not cosy at all. The pictures don’t show the actual state of the property.

Lage ist sehr gut, eigene kleine Wohnung auf zwei Etagen. Oben zwei Schlafzimmer, unten Wohnzimmer und Küche mit Bad. Alles vorhanden, Preis/Leistung gut. Alles sehr unkompliziert und für ein junges Pärchen perfekt.

Alles sehr klein und die Wohnung ist nichts für ältere oder unbewegliche Menschen. Treppe zum OG ist extrem eng und steil, mit Koffer hoch schaffen nur schlanke Erwachsene die nicht schwach sind 😉 Im Bad keine Heizung außer einem Elektrostrahler und keine Parkplätze vor dem Haus, aber kostengünstige ums Eck.

The house is clean, easy to find, kitchen is well equiped and a washing machine is provided

Right at the corner of a busy road so a lot of traffic noise. The house especially the living/dinning area is tiny for 4 people. Because the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are narrow and steep so we had to leave our luggage downstairs which made it even more cramped.

The location was nice within Sligo - easy to get to on the way in and close enough to city centre. There was also a very good fish and chip place up the street.

It would have been better to have more complete check-in instructions and up to date info about parking. - apparently there is a switch that turns OFF a number of controls for heat (so it won't run continuously). We were not advised of this; it got cool in the unit in the evening with no heat (but the blankets are VERY good) and the hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks did not work late in the evening until JUST before we left in the morning (we cleaned the dishes we dirtied). The shower had hot water but the sinks did not. - the parking nearby is not available during the day (08:30 - -18:30) Friday to Sunday because of the market in that parking lot. While it didn't affect our stay in the unit, the listing showed easy parking in a city lot nearby. We couldn't park in that "easy" place Thursday pm (we would have been towed at 08:30 the next morning too close to our departure) so we had to scramble and find street parking and a "pay and display" meter, all at 19:00 pm upon our arrival. - And ... The latch on the door is such that you MUST HAVE THE KEY IN HAND when you leave the suite, even for a minute, or you won't get back in after the door closes. Lucky me (whew for sure !!) I had the key in hand when I popped out to my vehicle, to retrieve my bags, parked on the street. - I tried calling the listing contact a couple of times to ask questions, without success connecting. Perhaps I should have been more patient and persistent, at 19:00.
