There are pigeons in the roof that the owner should get checked out. The boiler also is noisy and needs looking at

It wasn’t very clean and dusty in places i’d expect to be clean. There is a nail in the top floor bedroom coming out of the floor beside the bed and a hole in the wooden floor.

We booked the Cresent Townhouse to use when we attended a family event in Lisburn. Location was great for central use. However, the property is right on a noisy main road. This mixed with the drafty windows wasn’t ideal when trying to get to sleep. Location to other areas was accessible though so this was good. Access to the property was via a key lock which was beneficial as we arrived late in the evening. Homeowners left milk, juice, bread, crisps etc for us which was a great addition along with Coffee/tea. Greatly appreciated. There are 2 front rooms as you enter the building and are beautifully decorated (as is all the property. Hats off to interior designer)…. The kitchen was also well presented with all amenities you require – washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge. All amenities you would require. The heating is operated from the Kitchen but turned off after a few hours so we never really felt the benefit as the building itself was so cold due to all the draughts. The bathroom is on the first floor with a large shower cubicle, bathtub (which I think leaked) and toilet. 1 bathroom did become quite busy for the size of the house. A separate shower room would be preferred. The large tiles in the bathroom are superb! The bedrooms to the first floor again were decorated beautifully. The ‘Peacock’ decorated room was lovely, but the draught from the windows and the noise from the main road was dreadful. The room next door again was decorated amazing, but the draughts again caused issues. In both rooms, the brickwork has been exposed and at a distance looks good. On closer inspection it hasn’t been re-pointed so has so many holes to the exterior which impacted the heat in the room. The room above the ‘peacock’ room made the worst noise whenever anyone moved in the bed. It needs a new mattress. 1 night of no sleep was bad but I encountered 2 because of the dodgy mattress. The second floor had 3 rooms and again beautifully decorated. Same issues though

Draughts

1) The house was lovely, relatively clean and the decor was modern. 2) We had fresh towels in each bed which was a nice addition.

1) There were no bin bags for dirt, we had to go buy our own. 2) The light in the bathroom was not working which I’m pretty sure the owners knew as they didn’t even respond to my message, we had to do everything in the dark which was absolutely ridiculous. For an accommodation that has only one toilet, the most important thing is to ensure that everything works properly to accommodate for the one bathroom situation. 3) There was a consistent noise coming from the attic/roof which was horrible because no one could sleep, it sounded like a semi broken fan or whatever it was. 4) The utensil drawer was broken and missing when we arrived.

Gorgeous 3 story townhouse right up the road from train station, shops. Lovely spacious rooms and a very handy kitchen with 2 sitting rooms. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating with us. 100% would stay again if in the area. Thank you!

The location was fantastic and perfect for us all. The decor was lovely and we loved the shape of the rooms. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies too!

There weren’t enough chairs for us to sit and eat together. A fold up chair to sit at the end of the table would be good.

If I had to pick something then the kitchen needed a bit of a freshen up. But that's being extremely picky. We loved our stay.
