Conagh View

The location was excelent. The morning view ia a must, with lots of green fields and wild rabbits just running arround. The feeling of being welcome by the owner.

The celling is a bit low in some point and if you are not carefull you can easily hit your head in it (Im not a very tall guy and i've hit it several times).

From first booking to leaving, Maria was always responsive and on hand to advise in accessing the apartment and to answer any queries. The apartment was warm, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The property is located in a rural location along winding and hilly country roads with beautiful views over the countryside. The nearest small town is less than 5 mins drive away where there is a grocery shop and takeaways. It is approximately 15 mins drive to Gorey where there are all the shops, bars and restaurants you’d expect to find in a larger town. We were only there for two nights and would return if we needed to be in that area again for a similar trip.

The apartment was compact but when we arrived we found it more spacious than we expected. There was plenty room for us and our active 6 year old to sleep, hang out and move around. It was a very pleasant apartment overall. The hosts were very welcoming and easygoing, letting our 6yo use their play area and come and go as we pleased. They even left a fresh loaf of soda bread and milk for us on arrival. The only slight drawback is that location is 15 minutes from Gorey which meant we often had to navigate the country roads in the dark. But you are rewarded with a peaceful getaway that felt very private and relaxed, and the views and countryside are great. As we come to see family every year, we will be back to stay for sure. And the price was the best value we could find.
