San Domenico Apartment

Anne was great, she met us at the apartment giving us information on restaurants, sights to see etc. The apartment was excellent, the private rooftop had sensational views of Taormina and the location was right off the Corsa.

Maybe a few basic supplies, such as washing powder would have been handy.

Taras kompletnie niezgodny ze zdjęciami. Meble zdewastowane, parasol zepsuty, na tarasie brud, nikt go nawet nie posprzątał. Widok piękny, ale taras strasznie zaniedbany. A wymagałby kilku godzin sprzątania i kupna sprzętu - przy tej cenie za nocleg jest to skandal. Kabina prysznicowa brudna, zepsute drzwi. Często brak ciepłej wody, pani tłumaczyła to ciśnieniem wody w Taorminie, ale dziwne, że akurat zimna woda cały czas miała dobre ciśnienie. Segregacja i wynoszenie śmieci najważniejsze, człowiek zamiast wypoczywać codziennie bawi się w śmieciarza. Harmonogram jak w pracy.

The location of the apartment is excellent, especially if you’re traveling by car. Great bars and restaurants are nearby, and you’re immediately immersed in the lively vibes of Corso Umberto. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely like to return.

The apartment was not fully air-conditioned as advertised. The single bedroom had no A/C, and the bed was uncomfortable, so one of us had to sleep on the couch in the living room, which was not ideal. The hot water system was also inconsistent during showers. If these issues were addressed, the apartment would easily be a 10/10.

Very nice flat with comfortable living room and kitchen. Marvellous view from the roof terrace.

The neighbours heat pump are loud at night. The mattress was hard and one of the duvets had a bad odour. Mostly solvable problems.

Our host was lovely and provided us all the information we needed and helped with an airport transfer. The property is as you see in the photos, spacious clean and perfect location for our stay. The Terrace was beautiful, we just didn't use it enough.

It wouldn't change me booking, but for others booking the apartment is on a pedestrian only road so you need to bring your suitcases down the road a few mins then down about 6 large steps and up 3 flights stairs. Only other things would be great to have beach towels available.
