The location was perfect - a 10 minute walk to the train station in one direction and a 5 minute walk to the old town / beach in the other direction.

The most important thing to mention is that THE APARTMENT HAS NO WINDOWS - usually if this is the case then it is clearly mentioned on the booking site but there is no mention of this on booking.com which made us feel misled. Apartments / hotels rooms with no windows are often priced more affordably however, this apartment was definitely not value for money in our opinion. The mattress was extremely poor quality and was very uncomfortable. There was only one air conditioning unit that was positioned in the kitchen, which was a long way from the bedroom. The decor is very nautical themed - the bedsheets look like they could be situated in a child's bedroom and there is what looks like a real fish dangling from one of the shelves. We received some unpleasant text messages from the hosts during our stay. The apartment had poor sound proofing and we could regularly hear footsteps above us. The bedroom door was not a solid door (contained a window), causing light to come into the bedroom which is not good for travellers which enjoy dark rooms.

We really liked everything about our stay. The location was perfect. Close to all Polignano attractions. Just a 5 minute walk to get to the beach. Quiet neighbourhood. It exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Hosts were very kind from day 1. Our flight was delayed and they were very accommodative in arranging a later check in. They even offered to drive us to nearby towns since we didn’t have a car. The apartment itself was in a fantastic location and clean, modern and well supplied. The hosts even left a fridge full of home grown fruit!
