Marshal Hotel Heritage

Absolutely beautiful hotel in beautiful Vis, right on the sea, modern and so comfortable, exceptionally clean rooms. Amazing seating areas for meals or drinks, right on the sea, and the breakfast menu was excellent. Perfect location, close to the marina and little shops and amazing restaurants.

The hotel only has a few rooms, it's right on the water with direct sea access, the location is great, it's just at the edge of the quay with all the restaurants and at the entrance of the street on the way to other marina. The focus is on the restaurant / bar however the staff was very welcoming and always willing to help with any query. You can take a swim right from the terrace, they even put a couple sun beds out during the day. You can also dock at the restaurant with a dinghy. Everything is clearly recent, quite modern.

There was no daily housekeeping and whilst I booked for 1 adult, there was only 1 set of towels and pillows. There was a little noise inside the building, maybe from other guests or staff entering some work spaces, but nothing from the restaurant crowd. It was a little scary to book without seeing a phone number or a website on the google maps page, but I did find a website, and the manager's mobile phone number, who called me back immediately. It would be useful to add this information to the google maps page.

Frokosten var veldig god, men kunne hatt noe mer utvalg. Beliggenheten var helt perfekt for oss. Rolig og stille. Re opp rommet til ønsket tidspunkt var veldig bra å kunne ha

Løs toalettrullholder kunne vært festet. Plassering og bruk av TV selv om denne ikke ble mye benyttet. Kunne hatt et par solsenger til

Lovely new hotel on the sea. The restaurant is a good front sea location. The room was very confortable, not very big but size good enought, Staff is very nice.

The main thing bothered us a lot was this smell of suage in the room. The second night we have covered the drain of the shower with a wet towel. I did mention to the maid when we checked in, nobody did anything about it. Not acceptable when I have paid 450 EUR a night. Breakfast is a bit disapointing.
