Black Stone

The apartment is located very close to the "amphitheater" entrance of Pompeii excavations. Very convenient for visiting the site, going to the modern town center, and the nearby are small food stores. The apartment looks much nicer in person than in the photos! (And I forgot to take some new pics to post - dang). The apartment has high ceiling with beams giving it a rustic "cozy" feel. There is lots of natural light in the entrance way where there is a desk. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfy. Comfy pillows. A/C worked very well. The bathroom is larger than expected, good water pressure, very nice fluffy towels. The kitchen was a bit small, but fine for me and my husband. There is everything you could need in terms of dishes and pans for cooking. Overall, it felt very "homey" and I would stay there again when I visit Pompeii overnight again. The hosts are super nice! Thank you!!

Great location, very close to the railway station, and the ruins, so perfect for our requirements. Pizza restaurant next door was an extra bonus with the best pizzas ever.

Fantastic place, beautifully decorated and presented. Just next door on the other side of the alley is a pizzeria with delicious pizza (and one night they even made us pasta off-menu!) There's hot water for the shower which is exactly what you need after a day walking around the ruins. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the station and just two minutes from the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance to the Pompeii Ruins, plus there's a small cafe to grab breakfast 30 seconds up the road. We would definitely stay here again.

The wifi signal was a little weak in the double bedroom, and to get to the double bedroom you have to walk through the other bedroom.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, fußläufig zum archäologischen Park, ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat einen kleinen Garten. Die Gastgeberin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns mit allem geholfen, auch als die Züge wegen eines Bahnstreiks ausfielen.
