Casa Rachele Apartment

So many special touches. Very generous hosts. Great position just outside of the main part of town. Had everything necessary for a great family stay.

Absolutely superb place. Host was excellent. Very nice and extensive welcome pack. Apartment was excellently presented, very clean. Great location for either walking into Bardolino to eat/drink out/catch a boat to other places or to use as base for exploring Lake Garda by car.

An iron/ironing board would have been useful (although if I’d asked the host, I’m sure she would have brought one for us to use). Nothing else was missing from the apartment.

Rachel is a wonderful host always ready to help. The apartment is very comfortable and very close to bike rental Titasport which has excellent service.

Casa Rachele is a wonderful choice for a stay in Bardolino. The location is great- an easy 10 minute walk from the centre. We were given a very warm welcome by Rachele and her daughter. A very generous welcome pack of wine, beer and snacks made us feel at home immediately. The apartment itself was immaculate. Spotlessly clean, very well appointed and well equipped. Two balconies allowed a sunny space for morning breakfast and evening aperitivo. On departure Rachele came by to say goodbye and also give a departure gift (we wish we could have given something in return!). We will definitely return to Bardolino and stay at Casa Rachele.

Rachele is an amazing host. She guided us on how to get there and made sure our entire stay was perfect. The apartment was spotless and recently refurbish to a high standard. She had even gone to trouble of stocking the fridge with necessities (e.g. water bottles, beers, crisps, chocolates, coffee tea, wine etc.) so that we didn’t have to rush to a supermarket immediately. The apartment was one of the nicest we have stayed in. The rooms were nice and airy. The beds were very comfortable. It is in a nice quiet area with no disturbances whilst being only 5-10 min walk to the restaurants and the lake. supermarket is about 10 mins walk and the bus stop was less than 10 mins too. It is clear that Rachele has put in a lot of thought to make the apartment as comfortable as she can. E.g. The Wifi was very fast. The TV had Netflix. There was a kettle and coffee machine with capsules. There is dishwasher and has some dishwasher tablets. The bathroom was well stocked including hand wash and shower gel, hand sanitizer etc. The towels and bed linen were spotless. Rachele, her son and he husband went out of their way to help us including a lift to the train station (not something I can expect from a host). It definitely added a personal and home touch. We will without hesitation stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
