The location is perfect, right by the sea and very convenient for getting around. It is next to the port, where you can see a beautiful sunrise, and the center of the resort is only a few minutes away on foot. There are several beaches nearby (my favorites were Limanakia and Saradari). Lidl is around a 15-minute walk away, the bus stop to Heraklion/Agios Nikolaos is about 10 minutes away, and there are many restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets close by. Communication with the host was excellent throughout my stay. I also appreciated being able to do a self check-in, as I arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight. The cold bottle of water waiting in the fridge and the flexible check-out were very thoughtful touches. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the studio itself was spacious and nicely decorated. I also appreciated that every day I was asked whether I wanted cleaning service or fresh towels. Another plus is that the villa has an elevator, although it only works for floors 1, 2, and 3.

My sea-view studio no 98 was located on what I would call floor 0.5, meaning it could only be accessed by stairs. The street outside is quite busy with both pedestrians and cars, so it could get noisy at times. There were also some construction works in the area during my stay, and the sea view is slightly obstructed by the signage of the beach club in front of the building. The bathroom is also very small and has no window, only ventilation. For me it was manageable (I am 1.60m tall), but it could feel uncomfortable for someone taller or larger. The toilet area is particularly tight, and when taking a shower the whole bathroom gets wet. The Wi-Fi connection was rather weak as well. I worked remotely during my stay and the connection dropped frequently. The balcony is not fully open, although I had clarified this with the host before arriving. Lastly, the building stays quite cool inside, and during the first nights it was a bit cold. I would have appreciated a light duvet. There were extra blankets in the closet, but they did not smell freshly cleaned, so I did not feel comfortable using them.
