Nice clean AC room. Great location

Location was good. That is the only positive about this place.

Everything was awful, from the rude owner and staff who refused to give us two fresh towels when there was only one towel given in the room (for the two of us) which smelt awful. The rude owner was also very judgmental of the fact that we had attended a party and returned late in the night which is frankly not their business, especially when we had no guests over and made no noise as we were barely at the property (because it was practically inhabitable) There was no hot water and the water pressure was impossible. We had to crouch and use the tap under the shower head in order to wash ourselves. There is no sea view, fridge, tea/coffee and there was no water from the taps for most of our stay (there was a water cut which is not the property’s fault but their tank should have at least been filled). The drinking water provided in the room was not in sealed bottles - we have no idea where this water came from and we refused to drink it. The owner tried to charge us a much higher price than was indicated on booking.com (nearly 20% extra). The pictures on booking.com were also heavily photoshopped. The room is much smaller and dirtier than indicated in the pictures. The bedding was also very uncomfortable. As a Sri Lankan, I am ashamed that this property is part of what beautiful Unawatuna has to offer.

Very clean, comfortable bed and good location to walk to the beach

The lady tried to charge us more than I booked it for on booking.com. It also said sea views, you can only see the sea if you’re standing up and looking over the tops of the buildings opposite. It’s said kettle in room, I asked for one but got no response. They knocked our door before 11am and told us to check out now, when it’s says 10-12 on booking.com. I found that quite rude, We were quiet guests and caused no trouble for them. If there was a problem with the check out time on the website, at least wait 10mins after 11am! We didn’t feel welcome there, almost like an inconvenience to them not a valued customer

Very friendly, central, breakfast was great, clean.
